Unethical Animal Experimentation PSA Posters

My 3rd project in Graphic Design 2 was to create a series of posters to bring awareness to topics or issues that effect lives. I chose to bring awareness against unethical animal experimentation and lab testing. It's a topic that a lot of people believe doesn't happen anymore, but just within the last year, over 100 million animals were tortured and killed in labs. The poster with the monkey yelling for help is based off of a horrible, but common research practice where scientists will implant electrodes into the brains of monkeys, cats, mice and other other animals to monitor their brainwaves during various experiments. I made the poster with rat being dissected by using props and a rubber rat toy, and set it up to look like both a science experiment and a murder scene. The poster with the lipstick filled with animal skeletons is based off of the countless animals that have been killed and tortured for cosmetic testing.
